The Service Concept

A service that gets in touch before you even have to ask.

Sales pressure or years of radio silence. That is not the service most clients picture or expect. So I built a Service Concept that meets what people actually need.

„Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich mich um nichts kümmern und an nichts denken muss, Alexander wird sich melden - so ist es für mich am besten, da mein Alltag mich schon genug fordert.““I have the feeling that I do not have to take care of anything or keep anything in mind, because Alexander will get in touch. That suits me best, because my everyday life already demands enough of me.” Translated from the German original.

The benchmark

Would you like a service that looks like this?

Regular communication

Regular updates rather than years of silence. So that you and the person who takes care of all your finances and insurance are always kept up to date.

Available round the clock

You usually think about money when nobody is available, in the evening, at night or at the weekend, rarely during office hours. And even small things like a new bank account or address then wait days to be dealt with. It really does not have to be that way. You want to be able to reach someone easily, at any time, with an answer within 24 hours.

An annual review

Even if you’re in regular contact, this doesn’t replace that one focused meeting each year to discuss your goals, review your progress and check that everything is still on track. You choose your preferred month for this; you’ll receive a timely reminder, and everything will be prepared when the time comes.

Mail that someone else reads too

Over a year, dozens of letters about your contracts land in your postbox, premium invoices, contract statements, general information. Honestly, nobody enjoys reading through that. You simply know that someone is reading it too and gets in touch as soon as something important comes up that needs action.

Prices and services at a glance

Everything gets more expensive, structures and terms change. Whether your tariff is still current, whether there is now cover that does more than yours, whether your sums insured have grown with your life. You can hardly keep track of all that yourself. You want someone who checks it for you, before you have to ask.

Alternatives instead of premium shocks

Insurance getting more expensive over the years is part of the deal. But the market keeps moving too. You want someone who keeps an eye on the increases and gets in touch, either with an alternative or with confirmation that everything should stay as it is because it is simply the best there is. What you do not want is the feeling of paying on and on without anyone ever having looked.

Taking care of things at no extra cost

You want a service that is not cross-subsidised through new contracts, but happens on a planned, regular basis, even when you have no intention of buying a new financial or insurance product. With predictable costs, where no single question, appointment or contract change costs extra. And without the annual review that somehow always ends in a higher premium.

Which approach suits you best?

Background

Why a separate Service Concept is needed.

Good service rarely fails because of the people. It fails because of the model. A conventional intermediary is usually only paid when a contract is signed. The annual review, help with a claim, a look at the post. None of that is paid for. So all of it has to be financed through more and more new contracts, and that is exactly what reaches the client, either as sales pressure or as years of silence.

Added to this is the sheer volume. I have worked with intermediaries who have several hundred, and in some cases even several thousand, clients on their books. These clients simply cannot experience the sort of service you wished for above; the numbers just don’t add up. There are around 246 working days in a year, and anyone who wants to devote focused time to each client at least once a year simply cannot manage 2,000 households.

We don’t need a new intermediary. We need a new approach to client service.

The three stages

A Service Concept. Three levels.
Which one is yours?

You choose the level that suits your lifestyle and your needs. Some people like to manage their policies themselves and only need me when it really matters. Others want someone to keep an eye on things, think things through and get in touch before they have to ask. The self-assessment test shows you where you stand.

The costs

What it costs.

No price lists on request and no sales pitch up front. Here you can see what each tier costs, and decide for yourself which one suits your lifestyle. We’d be happy to go through the details with you in a personal conversation.

The ‘Comfort’ package is designed to meet precisely the needs that clients have repeatedly mentioned to me over the past few years. They had simply expected some of these things from their intermediary, but did not receive them. ‘Premium’ is for anyone who really thinks their financial planning through to the very end and takes personal contingency planning seriously, so that in the event of an emergency, their family makes the decisions, not a court.

Not sure which level?
The self-check tells you in two minutes.

Partners and children up to the age of 23 are included in the family rate.

Contingency planning

What happens in an emergency?

If you are no longer able to make decisions for yourself, a court-appointed guardian or a family member will take over. Both are bound by strict bureaucratic guidelines. To ensure that your trusted representatives can act freely on your behalf, we make the necessary arrangements as part of my service system. Legally valid powers of attorney, stored centrally, and a detailed emergency plan so that your trusted representatives know exactly what to do and where to find all the important information. In an emergency, both are immediately available, and your wishes will be carried out exactly as you have previously specified.

Included in the Premium Package

As part of the Premium Service Concept, your contingency planning is automatically included and is reviewed during the annual meetings.

Frequently Asked Questions

In a nutshell.

What is the Service Concept?
The Service Concept is a separate service module, which I offer as a standalone product with its own pricing structure across three tiers. You receive the defined service without having to purchase an insurance or investment product.
Do I have to buy something to become a client?
No. You don’t have to take out any insurance or investment products to become a client. The product on this site is the service itself. And that starts at €0 for the ‘Basic’ package.
What will happen to my existing policies?
I’ll take over the management of your existing policies; you don’t need to cancel anything. If a company doesn’t work with brokers, the policy remains where it is. If you wish, I can offer you an alternative, and you can decide at your leisure.
How can I get in touch with you?
The classic way, by phone. As a client you get my personal number. In Comfort and Premium you also have the 24/7 WhatsApp channel, with an AI assistant that answers you straight away and settles some matters directly. Before anything is actually done, I look it over and approve it.
All appointments run as video calls, wherever you live.
How long is the commitment?
The minimum term is 24 months; after that the agreement can be cancelled monthly with 3 months' notice. Partners and children up to the age of 23 are included in the family rate.
Why do you charge for your services?
Because otherwise it would have to be cross-subsidised through product sales. That is precisely what creates sales pressure or a lack of communication. The service has its own, honest price for me, so that I don’t have to sell you anything in order to take care of you.

Ready for a new approach to client service?

My original background is a technical one. As a mechanical engineer I am fascinated by engines of every kind and by the fine interplay of their parts. A special example is the Stirling engine. No spark, no explosion, just a temperature difference from which motion arises. Built properly once, the mechanism runs quietly, evenly and with virtually no wear.

That is how I understand client care. No flash in the pan at the point of sale, but a system that keeps itself moving from a genuine drive. My job is to keep that system running.
